Anjill has been a licensed massage therapist since 2021 and graduated from Harris Business College right here in Maine. She is trained in Deep tissue, Swedish, hot stone, rehabilitation, sport massage, pregnancy, trigger point, aromatherapy, and lymphatic drainage, to name a few. She has worked with clients of all backgrounds, including people with disabilities and children. Anjill has a passion for holistic medicine and all it can do for the human body. If she’s not busy at Green Leaf, you can find her doing yoga, reading medical books, and practicing calisthenics. Melissa is a licensed and certified Massage practitioner. She is here to help you start your journey towards pain and injury management, spiritual relaxation, and conditioning. Melissa has a background as a laboratory research assistant, phlebotomist, and has worked in a medical-surgical unit. She has worked in Nursing Homes, Hospitals, Rehab Centers, and veterans’ facilities, helping with various types of ailments, such as Phantom Pain, PTSD, chronic pain, back injuries, and impingement issues. She worked with cancer patients, pre- and post op patients, and addiction patients. Melissa has experience in infant care massage, prenatal care massage, as well as relaxing treatments, holistic massages, and clinical massage. She is a strong advocate for what massage can do, not only for the body but for your mental health. She has continued to improve herself by staying up-to-date with the latest massage trends, taking additional certified classes, and learning new techniques to enrich and enhance the quality of life for her clients.

As a Group Fitness Instructor since 1986 and a Yoga teacher since 2001, I have had the honor of teaching and sharing a practice with varied populations, including Corporations, Health Clubs, YMCA’s, Recreation Departments, Fire Houses, Senior Centers, Mommy and Me programs, and yoga studios.
I believe that yoga and meditation will benefit all ages, bodies, minds, and lives.
All are welcome. There is a practice for everybody. Most people come to yoga for the physical poses. I hope that the experience of moving with breath and allowing ourselves the gift of some pause will cultivate an energy of giving and receiving loving kindness to ourselves and ultimately to others. Yoga continues, even after we’ve rolled up the mat.

Maria Lovo is a 500‑Hour Registered Yoga Teacher, Reiki Master Teacher, and the founder of A Welcome Haven, a yoga and holistic wellness space in York, Maine. Her work centers on gentle, accessible yoga, meditation, breathwork, and energy healing, with an emphasis on creating a safe, nurturing environment for all bodies and all souls. Maria’s yoga practice began as part of a personal wellness transformation. After undergoing gastric sleeve surgery in 2015, she discovered yoga as a way to support her physical health, weight loss, and strength building. Initially drawn to the fitness aspect, she later realized that yoga offered deeper emotional and spiritual healing.
